Stellenzicht - Thunderstone Chardonnay 2024

Stellenzicht Thunderstone Chardonnay is a vibrant and expressive Chardonnay that captures the freshness and elegance of Stellenbosch's cool-climate vineyards. Named after the distinctive granite soils that shape its character, this beautifully balanced wine combines bright fruit with remarkable purity and finesse.

Pale straw in colour, the nose opens with enticing aromas of citrus, green apple and white peach, layered with delicate hints of lemon blossom and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is fresh and beautifully textured, offering flavours of ripe orchard fruit and citrus, supported by crisp natural acidity and a clean, elegant finish. Unoaked or only lightly oaked, the wine allows the purity of the fruit and the character of the terroir to shine through.

Wonderfully versatile at the table, Stellenzicht Thunderstone Chardonnay pairs beautifully with grilled fish, seafood, roast chicken, fresh salads, creamy pasta dishes, and soft goat's cheese. Best served lightly chilled at 8–10°C, it is an effortlessly elegant Chardonnay, equally suited to relaxed lunches and special occasions.
