Stellenzicht - Arenite Syrah 2023

Stellenzicht Arenite Syrah is a distinguished single-varietal Syrah that reflects the rugged sandstone (arenite) soils from which it takes its name. Rooted in the ancient terroir of Stellenbosch and produced from the estate's original Syrah clone, this wine is a superb expression of place, combining power, elegance and remarkable finesse.

Deep ruby in colour, the nose is rich and expressive, revealing layers of blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum, intertwined with cracked black pepper, warming spice and subtle hints of smoked herbs.

The palate is beautifully structured, with concentrated dark berry fruit, finely textured tannins and vibrant acidity, leading to a long, refined finish with exceptional balance and complexity. The distinctive sandstone soils impart a subtle mineral character that enhances both freshness and depth.
