Grand Vin des Verdots Rouge 2023

A rich and beautifully layered red from Vignoble des Verdots in Bergerac, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grown on shallow clay-limestone soils.

Aged for 20 months in new oak, it combines ripe wild berries and blackcurrant with elegant notes of cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate and black truffle. Full-bodied yet refined, with fine tannins, impressive concentration and a long, lingering finish.

Grapes: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc

Drink: Now–2033+; decant for around 1 hour.
