Tokaj Macik - Botris 2019, Late Harvest
This exceptional late harvest wine is inspired by the noble rot, Botrytis Cinerea. The base consists of carefully selected Furmint and Lipovina (Harslevelű) berries, which are blended in a 50:50 ratio and fermented together.
The wine exhibits an opalescent metallic golden hue. On the nose, it reveals captivating aromas of honey, complemented by notes of dandelion honey, yellow meadow flowers, and pollen.
On the palate, it offers a honeyed roundness, medium body, and a harmonious balance of natural residual sugar, leading to a lighter, citrus-infused finish.
Did you know that this wine grazed the shelves of Michelin star restaurants and is currently being supplied to the Vatican?
