The wine has an intense deep ruby colour.

The nose is dominated by notes of overripe stone fruit and berry fruits, supported by a noble oak aroma. The extract-rich palate is fruity in character, with hints of bitter chocolate on the finish and a velvety tannin structure.

Twenty-six months of ageing in barrique barrels have given the wine a noble elegance and the potential for further bottle ageing.
