Stellenzicht - Cap Classique 2023

Stellenzicht Cap Classique is a beautifully elegant traditional-method sparkling wine, crafted with the precision and patience that define South Africa's finest Cap Classiques. Made using the same time-honoured method as Champagne, it undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle, resulting in exceptional complexity, finesse and a delicate, persistent mousse.

Bright and lively in the glass, the nose reveals inviting aromas of crisp green apple, citrus zest and white peach, complemented by subtle notes of brioche, toasted almonds and freshly baked pastry from extended lees ageing. The palate is vibrant and beautifully balanced, combining refreshing acidity with creamy texture and fine, persistent bubbles, leading to a long, elegant finish.

Perfect as an aperitif, Stellenzicht Cap Classique also pairs beautifully with fresh oysters, smoked salmon, sushi, shellfish, soft cheeses, and light canapés. Best served well chilled at 6–8°C, it is equally suited to celebrations or simply elevating everyday moments with a touch of sophistication.
