Rariga - Rizling Rynsky Sarkaperky 2023

Rariga’s Riesling from the Sarkaperky vineyard in the heart of the Small Carpathians is a finely tuned expression of cool-climate winemaking. Grown on limestone-rich slopes with excellent sun exposure, this dry Riesling captures the purity and precision the region is known for.

Pale lemon in the glass, it opens with vibrant aromas of green apple, lime zest, white peach, and a distinctive mineral edge, now joined by subtle notes of petrol - a classic hallmark of well-made Riesling, already emerging in this 2023 vintage.

On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied with bright, zesty acidity, a touch of salinity, and a clean, linear finish. There's subtle texture and depth, reflecting careful vineyard work and thoughtful winemaking.

This Riesling pairs beautifully with grilled trout , fresh goat cheese, lightly spiced Asian dishes, or vegetable-based pastas, and it shows excellent potential for bottle aging, where its developing complexity and mineral backbone will continue to evolve gracefully.
