Fyrmonia - Sauvignon Blanc

This Sauvignon Blanc from the South Slovakian wine region is a true expression of its origin - the sun-drenched slopes of Ruban’s Old Hill , overlooking the Three Rivers Valley.

Hand-harvested after careful cultivation, the wine was partially matured in stainless steel tank and partially in oak barrel before bottling, achieving a perfect balance of freshness and complexity. The gravelly loess and limestone soils of this unique terroir lend the wine its minerality and vibrant acidity, while the warm days and cool valley nights enhance aromatic intensity and varietal definition.

On the nose, it reveals enticing notes of ripe peach, gooseberry, and elderflower, with hints of citrus and meadow herbs. On the palate, it is crisp yet rounded, showing layers of stone fruit, grapefruit, and subtle vanilla spice, leading to a long, elegant finish.

Bright and versatile, this wine pairs beautifully with grilled freshwater fish, goat’s cheese , light poultry dishes, or asparagus risotto. It also complements seafood salads and herb-driven Mediterranean cuisine, making it a refreshing and sophisticated companion at the table.
