Fyrmonia - Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir from the Three Rivers Valley in the South Slovakian wine region is a remarkable expression of both variety and place. Born from the estate’s first harvest - a true virgin vintage - it captures the essence of the region’s gentle slopes and cool evening breezes, which allow for slow ripening and exceptional flavour concentration. The loess and limestone soils lend the wine a fine minerality and structure, while the valley’s warm days bring depth and ripeness to the fruit.
On the nose, it opens with aromas of ripe red berries, cherries, and wild strawberries , evolving into notes of dried herbs, sweet spice, and a delicate hint of vanilla.
On the palate, it is silky and rounded, showing jammy red fruit, soft tannins, and a long, graceful finish that speaks to both the terroir and careful winemaking.
Elegant and expressive, this wine pairs beautifully with duck breast, venison, or roast lamb, as well as mushroom-based dishes and aged cheeses. For an indulgent experience, it also complements fine chocolate pralines, especially those crafted with this very wine.
